kellen & sophie

when i started doing photography work on the palouse, i didn’t know where to start. i had been used to the upper left of washington, where every location had towering trees, lush green fields, & a beach close by. soooo, this was different.

but lucky for me, i have some gracious friends who agreed to model for me so that i could figure out this whole idaho-landscape thing. kellen & sophie (friends from my hometown who now also live & go to school on the palouse!) met at my place and followed me out into the rolling hills. we picked a spot, pulled over, & watched God paint the sky. these two laughed & danced & ran & laughed some more. sovereign kindness poured over us as the sky lit up & kellen said, “this is like a movie!”

yes, indeed. just like a movie. what a Grand Producer.
